Jul 01, Kathmandu - Four people have been arrested with 1,074 kg of illegal marijuana from Katahare, Kailash Rural Municipality-5, Makawanpur.

The arrested are locals Hari Bahadur Waiba, 73, Buddhi Bahadur Pakhrin, 48, Arun Gole, 34, and Rajendra Lama, 19.

A police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor and the Area Police Office, Palung, searched the houses of Hari Bahadur, Badhi Bahadur, Arun, Rajendra, Gokarna Poudel, Man Bahadur Moktan and Somlal Gole, who also live in the same area, and found the amount of marijuana in 54 bags.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
