Jul 04, Kathmandu - The Police Headquarters has launched an investigation into Traffic Inspector Kamal Khadka, who participated in a signature campaign in support of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane.

Lamichhane is currently in Bhairahawa Prison. A case has been filed against him in the Parsa District Court in the Sano Payla Cooperative fraud case. He is being investigated on charges of organized crime and money laundering.

Meanwhile, the RSP is running a citizen signature campaign in his favor. After a photo of Traffic Inspector Khadka signing the same campaign went public, the Police Headquarters removed him from his position and launched an investigation with clarification.
