Jul 05, Kathmandu - A young man has been arrested on charges of rape in Kathmandu.

Tilak Ghising, 24, of Sindhuli Dudhauli Municipality-12 and residing in Naxal, Kathmandu, has been arrested on charges of raping a 23-year-old woman.

The police deployed from the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, arrested the man on the basis of a complaint that Tilak had raped the woman in Bageshwori, Changunarayan Municipality-7, on 4th Ashad.

The police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
