Jul 14, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress' sister organization, Nepali Student Union (NSU), has staged a protest in Kathmandu demanding the immediate promulgation of the School Education Act, invalidating Senate meetings without student representation, and making teacher appointments 100 percent open to competition.
Ten NSU cadres have been arrested after trying to break the restricted area in New Baneshwor. They had protested by burning tires on the streets.
