Jul 14, Kathmandu - Police have said that a brother-in-law shot and killed his sister-in-law in Sunsari. According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, a brother-in-law who had come from India with a weapon to his in-laws at Maharam Chowk, Harinagar Rural Municipality-6, shot and killed his sister-in-law.

Sunsari DSP Yograj Khatiwada said that 29-year-old Azad Miya Jat of Patraha Panchayat-16, India, shot and killed 18-year-old RC Khatun on Monday morning. The shooter, Miya Jat, is absconding, DSP Khatiwada said.

Sunsari Police Chief SP Suman Kumar Timsina said that a search is underway for Miya Jat. He said that a pistol bullet has been recovered from the spot.
