According to the data of the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, which keeps track of government expenditure, the government has spent a budget of 227 billion rupees in this year (1 Ashar to 30 Ashar), that is, in these thirty days. In Ashadha alone, the government has spent 125 billion rupees on current items, i.e. salaries and allowances of employees, seminars. Similarly, the government has spent more than 70 billion 46 million rupees in this period under the capital item in the name of development.
