Jul 25, Kathmandu - An FIR has been registered against IPL 2025 winner Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Yash Dayal on charges of rape of a minor.

Jaipur police have confirmed this, as reported in Indian media outlets including NDTV. According to the police, the girl who filed the complaint is 19 years old.

She has alleged that she met Dayal two years ago and repeatedly sexually abused him on the pretext of helping her in her cricket career.

According to the FIR, the first incident took place in 2023, when the victim was 17 years old. She met Dayal in Jaipur during an IPL match. She is then accused of raping him for the first time at a hotel in Sitapura and continuously abusing him for two years.

The complaint states that the latest incident took place in Jaipur in April 2025, during an IPL match.

The case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, police said.
