Jul 26, Kathmandu - Police have seized 60 kg of marijuana from Dewanganj, Sunsari.

Police seized 60 kg of marijuana from Khatwe Tole, Dewanganj Rural Municipality-3, on Friday night, according to the Area Police Office, Dewanganj.

A person riding a motorcycle with an undisclosed number plate fled after throwing two sacks at the police, police said. Police said that the same quantity of marijuana was found when the sacks were searched. According to police, a search is underway for the absconding person.
