US Navy F-35 Fighter Jet Crashes

Jul 31, Kathmandu - A US Navy F-35 fighter jet has crashed near Naval Air Station Lemoore in California. According to a Navy statement, the pilot saved his life in time. He is currently safe and out of danger. The accident happened around 6:30 pm local time.

The aircraft was attached to Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-125 'Rough Raiders'. The aircraft of this unit are often used to train pilots and aircrew. The US Navy has been on high alert since the accident. Currently, the causes of the accident are being investigated.

The value of the crashed fighter jet was around 100 million dollars. It is a special version designed for the US Navy that can be flown from aircraft carriers. The aircraft is made by Lockheed Martin. The plane was not on a mission at the time of the accident. It was flying for training purposes.
