Jul 31, Kathmandu - The National Examination Board is preparing to make the results of class 12 public by 25th Shrawan.
According to the academic calendar, the results should be made public by 15th Shrawan. However, due to the 29-day-long teachers' protest since 20th Chaitra, there will be a delay of 10 days in making the results public.
According to Krishna Prasad Sharma, the examination controller of the National Examination Board, the results will be delayed due to the delay in the examination.
"Work is underway on the technical side. Preparations are underway to make the results public by 25th Shrawan," he said.
The exam, which was scheduled for Baisakh 11, was postponed from Baisakh 21 due to the teachers' strike. 511,525 candidates participated in the exam.
The exam was postponed due to the Teachers' Federation's 29-day protest from Chaitra 20 demanding the promulgation of the School Education Act.
