Nepali Taekwondo Team to Compete in Thailand

Aug 01, Kathmandu - An eight-member Nepali team, including six players, is set to travel to Pattaya, Thailand, to participate in the 8th Heroes International Taekwondo Competition.

For that, the team will leave for Thailand on August 8. Aryan Amgain and Aryan Tamang will compete in the men's 25-28 kg and 35-38 kg categories in the competition to be held from August 9 to 10.

Aarushi Amgain will compete in the women's 23 kg category, Ronsha Thapa in the 42-44 kg category, and Yojana Gauli and Chloi Dolma Tamang in the poomsae category. The coaches are Gaurav Rajak and Dinesh Neupane.

Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Poudel bid farewell to the team at a program organized to mark the second anniversary of the Change Campaign Nepal.
