Aug 01, Kathmandu - 483 kg of cashew nuts that were smuggled from customs have been seized from Kathmandu.

The cashew nuts were seized from vehicle number Ba 8 Cha 66 on Chakku Marg, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13, informed SP Kuldeep Chand of the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

Police Circle Kalimati has also taken two people into custody.

Ram Bahadur Bisunke, 24, of Dhading and Aryan Shah, 24, of Dhanusha are under custody.

Police have said that cashew nuts are sold for Rs 1,300 per kilogram.
