Aug 05, Kathmandu - Dang, Banke and Bardiya have been facing heavy rainfall in the last 6 hours. Due to heavy rain in and around Tulsipur, Ambapur, Jalkundi in Dang, West Rapti in Banke, Sikta and Manpur Rainfall Measuring Center in Bardiya, the risk of flash floods has increased in the Babai River, West Rapti River, Duduwa River and other small rivers flowing through these areas.

The Department of Water and Meteorology has also urged people to stay in safe places with high alert as there is a risk of flooding in low-lying areas.

The department has stated that heavy rains will occur in some places in Lumbini, Sudurpaschim, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon.
