Aug 05, Kathmandu - The government has made important decisions, such as approving a national strategy on ending child marriage and labor migration, as well as prohibiting strikes in essential services.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung informed a press conference organized at the ministry on Tuesday that the decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held on Sunday.

The Council of Ministers has approved the 'National Strategy and Action Plan to End Child Marriage, 2082' and the 'National Labor and Immigration Policy, 2082'. Similarly, it has been decided to issue an order prohibiting strikes in essential services in accordance with the Essential Services Operation Act, 2014 and publish it in the Gazette.
The meeting decided to grant income tax exemption for the fiscal year 2082/83 to companies working on projects under MCA-Nepal and to approve a letter regarding the implementation of tax exemption for MCC funding. Similarly, the meeting also decided to approve the establishment of a United Nations Project Services Office in Nepal and to appoint Anil Raj Poudel as the Vice-Chairman of the Youth and Small Business Self-Employment Fund, Gurung informed.
