Aug 10, Kathmandu - Four associations, including National PABSON, have demanded appropriate provisions in the Education Act. HISAN, National PABSON, N PABSON and PABSON have jointly issued a press release and put forward the demand by giving an ultimatum of Shrawan 28th.
Holding a press conference on Sunday, the association demanded that appropriate provisions be made in the Education Act under construction without any prejudice, taking into account the existing legal system and the stability of institutions established and operated in accordance with the law.
They say that trying to get the private sector to do what the state cannot do is extremely impractical and an attempt to make the state unaccountable.
These organizations have put forward demands that the phrase that private schools will gradually be made non-profitable should be removed, that the term full scholarship should be removed, that the provision of providing ten percent of the total number of students currently in practice should be continued, and that the admission fee, annual fee and monthly tuition fee under the scholarship should be maintained.
They have also warned that they will be forced to protest from Shrawan 29 onwards if the bill is not amended.
