Aug 10, Kathmandu - One person has died and two others have been injured when two motorcycles collided in Dang.

One person died when a motorcycle (Lu.Pr-02-001P 1121) heading from Tulsipur to Ghorahi collided with a motorcycle (Lu 34 Pa 5406) coming from the opposite direction at Tulsipur-18 Dudhras on the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section on Saturday evening, according to the District Police Office.

Devraj Chaudhary, 46, of Latthahawa, Rapti Rural Municipality-5, died in the accident.

He died on Saturday night while undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Chakra Bahadur Shahi.

In the accident, 27-year-old Nawaraj Poudel of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-5 and 18-year-old Roshan Pandit, a resident of Bara Bishrampur Rural Municipality-2 and currently residing in Tulsipur-5, were injured while riding the motorcycle.

Police said that both the injured are receiving treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur. Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
