Aug 10, Kathmandu - National cricketer Lalit Rajbanshi has suffered a maternal loss. His mother, 63-year-old Shubo Rajbanshi, passed away on Sunday.

According to eldest son Ram Kishore Rajbanshi, Shubo had been suffering from heart disease for a long time.

Family, relatives and neighbors have gathered at the house in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-14. The family has stated that preparations are being made to perform his last rites today.

Shubo Rajbanshi has three sons and a daughter. Lalit is the youngest son.

Lalit has written on social media, 'I am sorry, Mamu'.
