Aug 10, Kathmandu - The body of one of the 13 Nepalese who went missing in floods in two different parts of Uttarakhand, India, has been found. The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi has said that work is underway to identify the body.
On Shrawan 20, a 'cloud burst' caused flooding in Dharali, Uttarakhand. Eight Nepalese are still missing in the Dharali floods. Thirteen Nepalese affected by the Dharali floods were rescued alive.
The body of one of the five Nepalese who went missing in the floods that hit Baguda in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand on Shrawan 21 has been found.
Five Nepalese were injured in the Baguda floods. Three of the injured have returned after treatment. The embassy has said that two are currently undergoing treatment.
