Aug 14, Kathmandu - Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has been released from Rupandehi Prison.

Lamichhane, who is in custody for trial in the cooperative fraud case, has been transferred to Nakkhu Prison today to be brought there.

The prison administration had decided to transfer him yesterday based on Lamichhane's application. Lamichhane is being brought to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa by a Buddha Air flight.

A crowd of supporters, including his wife Nikita, have gathered at the airport to welcome Lamichhane.
