Aug 25, Kathmandu - Kumar Rai has been appointed as the head coach of the Nepali U-19 women's volleyball team.

The Nepal Volleyball Association has appointed her as the coach for the Cava U-19 Women's Championship.

Nepal is playing the tournament in Colombo, Sri Lanka from Kartik 17 to 24. The association had selected players last Friday and Saturday to participate in the tournament. Through this selection, 18 players have been called for closed training. The association has stated that the team's closed training will be held at the covered hall of the National Cricket Council in Tirushwor from Asoj 1 last.

Meena Sunar, Pratibha Chaudhary, Bhavana Tamang, Namsara Rana, Ashika Chhetri, Pratibha Chaudhary, Krishma Dangi, Rebika Lama Tamang, Rumapa Lamsal, Binita Rana, Jenisha Bishwakarma and Prasansha Boudel, Nisha Mahar, Samjhana Nepali, Meena Chaudhary, Anisha Tharu, Anushka Karki, Sunita Khatri and Angela Pradhan.
