Aug 30, Kathmandu - Police today arrested a hotel operator with five kilograms and 690 grams of hashish from a hotel in Milanchowk, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2.

Ram Bohara, a resident of Bungal Municipality-8, Bajhang and currently the owner of Jayaram Hotel and Lodge Restaurant in Dhangadhi-2, was arrested with the hashish, said Police Inspector Lokraj Joshi of the District Police Office, Kailali.

According to him, he was taken into custody after hashish was found during a suspicious check at a hotel in Bohra.

Police Inspector Joshi said that four people were arrested with four grams and 90 milligrams of brown heroin from various places in the district. They have been kept in the custody of this office for necessary action and further investigation is underway.
