TVS Launches New Electric Scooter 'Orbiter'

Aug 30, Kathmandu - Indian vehicle manufacturer TVS Motors has launched a new model of electric scooters in the market.

The company has launched a new EV scooter in the Indian market, named TVS Orbiter. This is the second Orbiter model after TVS' iQube electric model.

According to the company, it has been launched in the market only in a single variant. However, the iQube is available in many variants in the market. The company stated that the Orbiter scooter has been specially designed to cater to the needs and budget of the customers who are looking for a two-wheeler.

The company's recently launched Orbiter scooter is priced at just INR 99,900. According to the company, it is one of the best mid-range aerodynamic scooters in India.

The new TVS Orbiter scooter is powered by a 3.1 kWh battery that offers an IDC range of up to 158 km. It comes with an IP67 rating. The company has provided some of the best segment-first convenience features in this scooter and has given 6 color options.

It features a colorful display with TVS Connect app, LED DRL with full LED light setup, Bluetooth connectivity system, turn-by-turn navigation, live location, OTA updates, hill hold, anti-theft, and crash alert.

Similarly, there are advanced features such as cruise control, regenerative technology, motor cutoff technology, eco and power riding modes, reverse mode, reverse parking assist and USB port. With a ground clearance of 165 mm, the Orbiter scooter has alloy wheels, flat floorboard, 34 liters of boot space.

USB charging, cruise control, automatic hill hold assist, reverse parking assist, and connected digital cluster are included.
