Sep 02, Kathmandu - The bodies of two people who were involved in a motorcycle accident have been found in a river in Sole, Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-6, Rasuwa.
According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, joint spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, the bodies of two people who went missing in an accident on Bhadra 15 were found on Tuesday.
Sudip Ghale, 24, and Dawa Dendup Tamang, 23, of Thade, Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-6, had gone towards Dhunche on a motorcycle with registration number AAA-3817. However, after they failed to contact each other, their relatives filed a complaint with the police on the morning of Bhadra 17.
After the application, CCTV footage installed at the Dhunche check post showed them going towards Thade on a motorcycle at around 10 pm on Bhadra 15. Based on that, a joint team of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force was mobilized to search from the morning of Bhadra 17, DSP Thapa said.
According to him, the nature of the incident suggests that the motorcycle fell into the river about 250 meters below the road.
DSP Thapa said that the bodies of both the people have been recovered using the rope rescue method.
