UML Calls For Secretariat Meeting

Sep 02, Kathmandu - The CPN (UML) has called a secretariat meeting. The meeting has been called to be held at the party's central office in Chyasal, at 3 pm on Bhadra 19, informed the head of the publicity department, Rajendra Gautam.

He said that the meeting has been called to discuss the statutory general convention to be held in Godavari from Bhadra 20-22. The meeting will discuss the political report of Chairman KP Sharma Oli, the statutory amendment report of Vice Chairman Bishnu Poudel, and the organizational report of General Secretary Shankar Pokharel. “There is a matter of proposing all the documents to the central secretariat and going to the statutory general convention,” he said.

UML Chairman and Prime Minister Oli will return from his visit to China on Bhadra 18. A secretariat meeting has been called for the 19th.

There was talk of holding a central committee meeting. He said that due to lack of time, there is no possibility of holding a central committee meeting. “We have already taken the suggestions of the previous central committee meeting. The representative of the legislative general convention is sovereign. He can put his point there,” says Gautam.
