Sep 02, Kathmandu - Police have recovered Rs 30 million in cash from a house in Gongbu Town Planning. One person has been taken into custody.

A joint team of the Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari and the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, raided the house and recovered a large amount of illegal cash. The police team also recovered a large amount of gold jewellery from the house.

AIG Tek Bahadur Tamang of the Valley Police Office Ranipokhari said that Binod Shrestha, a resident of Gorkha, has been taken into custody and the necessary investigation has been initiated.
