Sep 06, Kathmandu - A girl who was injured in a hit-and-run by a government vehicle carrying Koshi Province Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Ram Bahadur Magar has been discharged from the hospital after treatment.

The injured girl was undergoing treatment at the B&B Hospital in Gwarko. She has returned home after treatment.

At 7:15 am on Saturday, Minister Magar's vehicle number (1 Jha 699) hit 11-year-old Usha Magar Sunuwar, who was on his way to the UML's legislative convention in Harisiddhi, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-28.

After the girl was injured in the collision, locals blocked the Satdobato-Godawari road. The blocked road was reopened after the government agreed to bear the girl's treatment expenses.
