Sep 07, Kathmandu - When a helicopter crashed in the Twin Cities in the state of Minnesota on Saturday, all the passengers on board died.

The Robinson R66 helicopter crashed near Airlake Airport at around 2:45 p.m. local time.

According to the Lakeville Police Department, when rescuers arrived at the scene, the helicopter was engulfed in flames and everyone inside had died.

It was not clear how many people were on board the helicopter.

It is a single-engine turbine helicopter. It can accommodate a pilot and four passengers.

The crash site was uninhabited. Police say there were no casualties on the ground when the helicopter went down.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
