Ministry Circular To Provide Free Life-saving Treatment To Protest Injured

Sep 08, Kathmandu - The Ministry of Health and Population has issued a circular to all federal hospitals under its jurisdiction to provide free treatment to citizens injured in today's protests.

On the initiative of Minister of Health and Population Poudel, the ministry has been asked to arrange for immediate treatment free of charge for the injured in the protests who come to the federal hospitals.

Similarly, the ministry has also directed to make ambulance services more effective and easily available at various places where they are needed. It has also called on the Kathmandu Valley ambulance network to facilitate the transfer of patients referred from one hospital to another.

In addition, the ministry has also called upon all doctors and health workers to unite and treat the injured.
