17 Killed In Kathmandu And 2 In Itahari In Gen Z Movement

Sep 08, Kathmandu - 19 people were killed in police firing during the Gen Z protest. So far, 17 people have died in Kathmandu and 2 in Itahari.

So far, 8 people have died during treatment at the Trauma Center, 3 at the Civil Hospital, 3 at the Everest Hospital, 2 at the KMC Hospital and one at the Teaching Hospital. Similarly, 2 people have died in police firing in Itahari.

So far, hundreds have been injured in today's protests in Kathmandu. Currently, more than 100 are being treated at the Civil Hospital, while 50 are being treated at the Trauma Center, 32 at the KMC College, and 18 at the Teaching Hospital.

Similarly, the condition of the injured at the Civil Hospital is unstable. At present, the hospital administration is unable to treat other patients and all the doctors are focused on treating the injured due to bullet injuries. The hospital administration has requested that arrangements be made for the treatment of the injured at other hospitals.

Some journalists and photojournalists who went to collect news were also injured by the bullets fired by the police.
