Sep 08, Kathmandu - Today, 19 people have died across the country during the protests in the name of the 'Gen Z' generation. The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that 347 people have been injured so far.

According to the ministry, three people have died while undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital and 100 are undergoing treatment. Similarly, six people are undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital. 59 people are undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center and eight people have died during treatment.

Similarly, the ministry has informed that one hundred and two injured people are being treated at Everest Hospital in Baneshwor and three people have died. Eight people have been referred elsewhere.

Similarly, four people are being treated at Patan Institute of Health Sciences. 37 people are being treated at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital, where two people have died. The hospital has informed that six of the injured will need surgery, the ministry has mentioned. Similarly, three people are being treated at Norvic Hospital.

The ministry said 18 people are being treated at the TU Teaching Hospital and one person has died. The health ministry also said one person is being treated at Gandaki Medical College outside Kathmandu Valley, two at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences, four at Birat Medical College, and seven at Damak Hospital.

Similarly, two people have died at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
