Sep 11, Kathmandu - Nepal Police has urged prisoners who have escaped from various prisons to contact them as soon as possible.

In a notice published on Thursday, the Police Headquarters urged “accused and prisoners to contact the District Police Office of the concerned district, local police units or local offices of other security agencies.”

Prisoners have escaped from various prisons across the country since the Gen-Z protests on Bhadra 23 and 24. Many of them have been recaptured by security personnel, while some have returned to prison on their own.
