Sep 12, Kathmandu - Sushila Karki, the former Chief Justice of Nepal, has been sworn in as the new interim Prime Minister. President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Karki.

Previously, under Article 61 of the Constitution, President Poudel appointed Karki to the position of Prime Minister.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, and other dignitaries.
