Sep 13, Kathmandu - Kathmandu Metropolitan City has decided to resume classes in schools from Monday.
The decision has been made to resume classes in schools that were closed due to the situation following the protests of the genjis on the 23rd and 24th. The metropolitan city has stated that it has decided to make teachers and employees present in schools from Sunday. The metropolis has also urged them to attend schools and carry out administrative work as well as cleaning-related tasks.
It has also issued a notice to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City to provide details of any damage to the school. The decision of the Metropolitan City states, "We will contact the parents of the students to understand their situation and request them to bring and take their children to school until the situation returns to normal." It is also stated that students who are unable to come and go to school with their parents will be facilitated through virtual classes.
