Sep 14, Kathmandu - A landslide in Sigana, Baglung Municipality-8 has caused the collapse of a livestock shed and displaced a family. The landslide originating from above Ram Bahadur Khadka’s house in Pakhabari area has partially damaged the residence and destroyed the shed beneath it.

According to local authorities, the family has been safely relocated to a secure place. Ward Chairman Chham Bahadur Karki confirmed that the recent road expansion above the house triggered a significant landslide involving large rocks.

The landslide has also damaged the main transformer supplying electricity to Sigana, affecting local power distribution. Authorities are assessing the situation and working on necessary repairs.
