Mental Health Training Being Provided to Students in Rautahat

Sep 19, Kathmandu - Katahariya Municipality of Rautahat has conducted specialized mental health training for students.

Recently, in response to the social, political, and psychological impacts caused nationwide by the Gen-Z movement, 150 students from the area were provided training organized by the Nepal Youth Council (NYC).

The training focused on stress management, maintaining mental balance, social responsibility, and developing a positive mindset.

The recent Gen-Z movement has had a profound impact on youth across the country. During the protests, incidents of violence, vandalism, and damage to government property led to increased feelings of insecurity, despair, and mental stress among students and young people.

In this context, local authorities' efforts to raise awareness about mental health have been welcomed by participating students.
