Sep 23, Kathmandu - The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled a new jersey for the Nepal national cricket team. The official launch took place on Monday evening via CAN’s Facebook page.
Previously, the team’s jerseys featured the name "Nepal" written in yellow color. However, the new jersey has adopted the white color. The updated design incorporates dark blue and red colors, symbolizing strength and national pride. On one shoulder, the jersey displays the Nepalese flag’s crescent moon, while the sun is depicted on the opposite shoulder.
The jersey’s sponsor is Naasa Securities, whose logo is prominently displayed at the center. Additionally, the jersey features a depiction of Mount Everest at the bottom, symbolising the Himalayan peak.
CAN expressed enthusiasm about the new design, stating, “Show your enthusiasm, wear your pride.” The jersey is described as a symbol of unity, strength, and aspiration.
Nepal is set to debut the new jersey during the T20 International series against the West Indies.
