Sep 27, Kathmandu - Former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has raised critical questions regarding the tactics used to attain political power. Speaking at a program in Bhaktapur on Saturday, Ashwin 11, Oli emphasized the importance of providing security, even when service facilities are not available.
“Those who are in government, do they need facilities or not? Should security be provided or not? If the country is kept in insecurity, and power is gained through insecurity, then using terror to reach the government and refusing to provide security to others — what kind of approach is this?” Oli questioned.
He also highlighted that weather patterns are never constant. “Weather doesn’t stay the same forever. Spring comes again, and when the rainy season and clouds arrive, autumn follows,” he added.
Oli urged his party members not to be afraid. “It is UML that will lead this country on the right path. Do not be afraid. Let’s exercise restraint,” he appealed.
