Finance Minister Khanal Addressed 3,821 Complaints in Five Days

Sep 29, Kathmandu - Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has addressed 3,821 complaints related to the Ministry of Finance.

A notice was issued to email directly if there is any complaint related to the ministry or if an employee asks for a bribe.

Finance Minister Khanal said that in the five days since the notice was made public, 2,200 complaints have been addressed through WhatsApp, more than 1,500 through SMS and 121 emails have been addressed.

He gave this information while releasing the statistics on addressing complaints on the social media network Facebook on Monday. He wrote, 'I have responded to 2,200 Whatsapp messages, more than 1,500 text messages and 121 emails. Hundreds of messages and emails are still to be answered. It is expected that all this work will be completed before the vaccine.'

Finance Minister Khanal said that the remaining complaints received through email will also be responded to as soon as possible. He has committed to addressing them before the vaccine.
