Song dedicated to Martyrs from Gen Z Movement, 'Ma Ta Kewal Nepal'

Oct 01, Kathmandu - The far-reaching upheaval brought about by the recent Gen-Z Rebellion has inspired creative expression, with arts and literature joining the ranks of affected sectors.

Songs and poems celebrating the dedication, rebellion, and sacrifice of the Gen-Z generation are now being created, with the latest being a newly released song titled "Ma ta Kewal Nepal".

The track was created by Kaavya Band, a musical group composed of Nepali expatriates based in Dubai. The band stated that the song captures the sense of national consciousness and the spirit of youth sacrifice awakened by the recent Gen-Z movement in Nepal.

The emotional song is described as not only a tribute to the martyrs but also a fervent message carrying the aspirations for a new, just, and self-respecting Nepal. Its lyrics powerfully convey the pride of being Nepali, patriotism, and the spirit of change.

The band characterized the song as a call to action: "This song is a pledge for all of us. No matter where we live, our identity is Nepal. We may be far from our soil, but our hearts always reside in this country," the band stated.

The Gen-Z movement, which began as the 'Nepo Babies' trend, ultimately led to a change in power in Nepal, achieving the feat in just two days. This wave against corrupt rulers and the political system has become a new dimension of change in itself.

"Ma ta Kewal Nepal" is currently available on YouTube and other digital platforms.
