Oct 01, Kathmandu - Chinese automaker Changan secured two major honors at the Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA) held during an ongoing auto show in Italy. The awards highlight the growing global recognition of Chinese automotive design and technology.
The Changan Deepal S07 won the prestigious Best Exterior Design Award, while its sibling model, the Deepal S05, took home the Best Human-Centric Intelligent Integration Award.
Meanwhile, the Deepal S05 was honored for its advanced technology and user experience. It received the Best Human-Centric Intelligent Integration Award for its sophisticated Human-Machine Interface (HMI), intelligent features, and seamless integration with technology.
The TADA Awards specifically focus on the design achievements of Chinese automobile manufacturers in the European market. The awards are presented across five categories: Exterior Design, Interior Design, Human-Centric Integration, Material and Sustainability, and Innovative Feature.
The success of the Deepal series suggests a strong push by Chinese automakers into design-focused European markets.
