Oct 03, Kathmandu - The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged everyone to be alert, stating that there is a possibility of heavy rain in various parts of the country until Ashwin 20.

The department has urged people not to travel at night as there is a risk of landslides along with the rain. The Roads Department has also advised people not to travel at night and has called on all employees of its subordinate offices to be prepared for disaster preparedness work.

The department has also urged those traveling on the Nagdhunga-Muglin, Muglin-Narayangadh roads, BP Highway, Kanti Lokpath, Tribhuvan Rajpath, and Daunne Road to be especially cautious.
