Home Ministry's Decision to Give Public Holidays Tomorrow and the Day After Tomorrow

Oct 04, Kathmandu - The government has declared Sunday and Monday as public holidays across the country. The Home Ministry has decided to declare two public holidays across the country in view of the risk posed by heavy rains.

In a notification issued by the ministry on Saturday, the public holiday has been declared keeping in mind the possibility of very heavy rains in various parts of the country and the risks that may arise due to the rains.

Offices related to disaster management and essential services will remain open during the holiday.
