Oct 04, Kathmandu - Authorities have banned all vehicle movement on roads situated along the banks of rivers and streams in the Kathmandu Valley, effective from 6:00 PM today (Saturday) until 6:00 AM tomorrow (Sunday).
The restriction was announced in a notice issued today by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, which operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The directive has been sent to the District Administration Offices of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur.
