Oct 05, Kathmandu - The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has urgently requested all hospitals and health institutions across the country to keep essential manpower and medicines on standby to ensure continuous emergency health services.
In a statement issued today, MoHP Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Budhathoki asked all health facilities to prepare stocks of medicines and first aid materials.

The Ministry emphasized the need for caution, noting that continuous rainfall increases the risk of floods, landslides, and other natural disasters, which could lead to accidents, injuries, and negative impacts on public health.
The MoHP has asked the public to contact their toll-free helpline number 1115 for any information or assistance, in addition to reaching out to the Federal and Provincial Health Emergency Operation Centers.
