Landslide Kills At Least Seven in Darjeeling, Two Missing

Oct 05, Kathmandu - At least seven people have died following a landslide in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India.

Police confirmed that the landslide occurred on the road connecting Kurseong to Darjeeling.

According to authorities, the bodies of seven victims have been recovered from the debris. Two other individuals remain missing, and search operations are currently underway to locate them.

The road where the incident occurred has been completely closed to traffic as rescue teams continue their work and efforts are made to clear the debris.
