Oct 07, Kathmandu - The Nepali national women's football team has confirmed that it will play friendly matches against two strong teams in Asia, Iran and India.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has officially announced the schedule for Nepal to face Iran on Kartik 7 and India on Kartik 10.
Earlier, it was scheduled to play friendly matches only with India, but Iran has also been added to the schedule. In addition, the venue of the match with India has also been changed. The match, which was earlier scheduled to be held in Sikkim, will now be held in Shillong, India, ANFA has stated.
In preparation for these two important friendly matches, Nepali team head coach Navin Neupane has already announced the preliminary squad. He has called 35 players for a closed training session. From which the final team will be selected.
