India's Solid Start Against West Indies

Oct 10, Kathmandu - India got off to a solid start on the first day of the second Test against the West Indies on Friday. India ended the day's play at 318 for two.

India won the toss and elected to bat first at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant century for them. He is not out on 173 runs.

He faced 253 balls and hit 22 fours. Yashasvi is supported by captain Shubman Gill, who scored 20 runs. Apart from that, KL Rahul scored 38 and Sai Sudarshan scored 87 runs.

India is leading the two-Test series 1-0.
