Fire in Air India Bus, Situation Under Control

Oct 28, Kathmandu - A fire broke out in a bus operated by Air India SATS, which provides ground handling services for Air India, on Tuesday.

The fire broke out near bay number 32 at Terminal 3 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, Indian media outlet Times of India reported.

The incident occurred just inches away from the aircraft, but there were no passengers on board at the time.

The fire was quickly brought under control and no one was injured, and no damage was reported to nearby aircraft.

SATS, which manages ground operations for several airlines, including Air India, said the bus caught fire while it was empty.

The airport authority said it has launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
