Is there any error in the voter list? Here's how to correct it from home

Oct 28, Kathmandu - Is there any error in your voter list? Then don't worry, you can correct it from home.

The Election Commission has provided the facility to correct the error in the voter list online. You can correct the error in the voter list until the upcoming Kartik 30th.

You can do things like correcting errors online, moving the voter roll, filing a complaint about being included in the voter roll by giving false details, and removing a name from the roll.

For this, first go to the Election Commission website. Then click on the option of Voter Pre-Registration System and Update, and go to Roll Update. Now enter your mobile number, enter the OTP received on that number, and proceed and click on New Request.

After clicking on New Request, enter your voter number and citizenship number or date of birth. Then select the schedule to correct the mistake, transfer the name list or what to do and proceed.

After doing this, the application form template will open and to correct it, you need to click on the pen icon on the right. If the details need to be corrected, then you need to upload the citizenship, marriage certificate, or immigration certificate to prove it. The size of the file to be uploaded in this way should not exceed 500KB.
