Oct 30, Kathmandu - The hearings in the corruption cases involving Rastriya Swatantra Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane and former Gorkha Media operator Chhabi Lal Joshi are scheduled for today. Both are currently in custody.

The cases concerning their alleged involvement in a major cooperative fraud in Butwal are being heard before the bench of Judges Om Prakash Aryal and Tej Narayan Poudel at the Tulsipur Bench of the High Court in Butwal. Previously, the bench of Judges Milankumar Rai and Omprakash Aryal had ordered to combine both cases, citing their similar nature.

Currently, Lamichhane is in Nakkhu Jail, Lalitpur, while Joshi is held at Bhairhawa Jail.
